Al Qadsiah beat Al Faisaly with three goals in Saudi Pro League

Al Qadsiah secured a convincing win against Al Faisaly, triumphing 3-1 on Sunday evening in the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League for the 2026-2027 season.

Mateo Retegui stunned Al-Faisaly with an early goal in the 5th minute, giving Al-Qadisiyah a quick advantage and putting the visitors under pressure from the start.

Al Faisaly responded quickly, with defender Abdullah Seik equalising in the 12th minute before Al Qadsiah regained their lead through Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat.

Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat scored in the 30th minute to give Al Qadsiah the lead again, ending the first half with the hosts ahead by two goals to one.

Al Qadsiah continued to assert their dominance after the break, successfully widening the gap in the 56th minute when Mohammed Al-Shanqeeti scored an own goal, bringing the home side closer to sealing the match.

Al Faisaly tried to reduce the deficit during the remaining minutes, but Al Qadsiah held on to their lead until the final whistle, securing a new victory that strengthens their position in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Qadsiah have increased their tally to 9 points, placing them third in the Saudi Pro League, while Al Faisaly remain on just 1 point in 17th place.
