Officially.. Razovic appointed coach of Al Taawoun

Al Taawoun have made their decision regarding the coaching position, as they have officially signed Serbian coach Vuk Rašović to take charge of the team until the end of the current season.

Razović has been appointed following Al-Taawoun's decision to sack Serbian coach Žarko Lazić after just three months in charge due to a decline in results in recent rounds.

Al Taawoun have temporarily assigned the responsibility to youth coach Jihad Al-Hussein following Lazetic's departure, until a new head coach is settled.

Razović has prior experience in Saudi football, having managed Al-Faisaly and Al-Feiha, with the latter winning the King's Cup in the 2021-2022 season.

Al-Taawoun hopes to benefit from the Serbian coach's experience quickly to improve the team's situation and move away from the relegation zone in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Taawoun currently sits second from bottom in the Saudi Pro League standings with just 3 points after playing 7 rounds since the start of the current season.
