Al-Mufarij reveals details behind Al-Juwayr's exclusion

Fahad Al-Mufrej, the executive director of the Saudi Arabia national team, revealed new details regarding the exclusion of Musab Al-Juwayr from the Green Camp, confirming that the decision was made due to repeated disciplinary violations.

The coaching and administrative staff of the Saudi Arabia national team have clarified the exclusion of Musab Al-Juwayr from the training camp in Jeddah in preparation for the Gulf Cup 27, with Mukhtar Ali being called up to compensate for his absence during the tournament.

Al-Mufarij said: "Musab Al-Juwayr is one of the stars of Saudi Arabia and a promising talent, having won the Best Player award last season."

He added: "On the first day of the camp, the disciplinary regulations were presented to the players and their clauses were explained, with an emphasis on the need to adhere to them, but Musab Al-Juwayr violated those regulations."

Al-Mufarij emphasized that the nature of the violation cannot be disclosed due to the confidentiality of the work within the Green Camp, stating: "The violation is disciplinary, and its recurrence prompted the coaching and administrative staff to make the decision to exclude."

He continued: "The violation was noted for the first time, and the player was given a verbal warning, but he repeated it, and thus the decision to exclude him was made to maintain order and regulations."

The executive director of the Saudi Arabia national team has denied rumors on social media regarding Musab Al-Juwayr's exclusion being linked to a request for a meal from outside the camp, confirming that this narrative is incorrect.
