Deportivo thrashes Valencia 3-1 for first LaLiga win

Deportivo La Coruña secured an important victory over their visitors Valencia with a score of 3-1 on Sunday, in the third round of LaLiga, in a match that saw two own goals in favour of the home side.

Deportivo opened the scoring in the 13th minute through a César Tariega own goal, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled the lead in the 17th minute, continuing his scoring streak for the third consecutive match.

Umar Sadiq reduced the deficit for Valencia in the 26th minute, but Mouctar Diakhaby scored another own goal in the 59th minute, sealing the match for Deportivo 3-1.

With this victory, Deportivo have raised their tally to 5 points after three rounds and are now seventh, while Valencia have stagnated at just one point in seventeenth.
