SS Lazio considers Yanis Bakhkharoui as an option to replace Boulaye Dia
SS Lazio have started early preparations for the potential departure of Senegalese striker Boulaye Dia, who is close to leaving the club for French side Rennes after reaching an agreement on personal terms.
According to "Foot Mercato", Moroccan striker Yanis Bakhroui, who plays for Estoril in Portugal, is among the names being considered by SS Lazio to replace Diao in the forward line, as they await clarity on the future of the Senegalese striker.
The same source clarified that the possibility of Bakrawi's transfer to the Italian club remains directly tied to the fate of the Díaz deal, as SS Lazio will not move to finalize the Moroccan striker's transfer before knowing the outcome of negotiations with Rennes.
SS Lazio are holding out for around €15 million for the sale of Díaz, as the French club seeks to reach a final agreement on the transfer fee after already securing the player's approval to join.
Fut Mercato has reported that Díaz has given the green light for a move to Rennes, with the final step dependent on negotiations between the French club and SS Lazio regarding the financial terms of the deal.
In light of these developments, SS Lazio continue to explore potential alternatives, with Yanis Bakhraoui's name standing out among the options to bolster the team's attack, while they await a resolution regarding Díaz in the coming period.
