Dino Toppmöller, the head coach of French side Lance, has raised concerns regarding the condition of Saudi player Saud Abdulhamid, after confirming that the national team defender will continue to be absent due to injury.

Toppmöller revealed during the press conference ahead of the Strasbourg match that Soud Abdulhamid will not participate in the game due to his ongoing struggle with injury.

Lens coach explained that the player suffered a bruise about ten days ago, before swelling appeared at the injury site, which necessitated his withdrawal from participation.

Tobmuller indicated that the medical staff preferred to give Saud Abdulhamid additional time to recover, without specifying a clear date for his return to the pitch.

Concerns have intensified within Lens, especially as the Saudi defender has started the current season impressively, contributing to the team's victory in the French Champions Cup.

Soud continues to impress with Lens at the start of the French league season, having scored a goal against Auxerre in the opening round of the competition.

Lens fans and the coaching staff are closely monitoring the medical status of player Saud Abdulhamid in the coming days, with hopes for a swift return and a chance to reclaim his spot in the team.
