Al-Ittihad Close to Securing Replacement for Moussa Diaby

Al-Ittihad has begun its efforts to compensate for the anticipated departure of French winger Moussa Diaby, having initiated preliminary contacts with Japanese player Ritsu Doan, who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, in preparation for a potential signing.

French journalist Santi Aouna revealed that Al-Ittihad's management has been in communication with the Japanese international player, who has become one of the names considered to bolster the attacking front during the summer transfer window.

These moves come as Diaby is close to leaving Al-Ittihad and returning to Bayer Leverkusen, after the two clubs reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the French winger.

Ittihad's management sees Dwan as possessing the technical qualities needed to replace Diaby, especially with his ability to play in attacking positions and the experience gained from European competitions.

The Japanese winger has had a remarkable experience in European football, and he possesses a good understanding of the atmosphere in the Bundesliga, which has enhanced his chances of being considered by the federation during the current transfer window.

The communications between the Union and Dwan are still in the early stages, while the club's management continues to assess available options to select the most suitable replacement for Diaby.

The Senegalese federation has included Ismaïla Sarr in the list of attacking alternatives as the club seeks to finalize the new winger before the transfer window closes.
