Historic Comeback for LASK Against Celtic

Austrian club LASK achieved a historic comeback against Scottish side Celtic, overturning a deficit to win 5-1 in the second leg of the Champions League qualifying playoff, thus advancing to the group stage with an aggregate score of 5-4.

Celtic, led by manager Martin O'Neill, entered the second leg with a three-goal advantage from the first match. Callum McGregor extended the Scottish team's lead with a goal in the 21st minute, making the aggregate score 4-0.

However, LASK began their comeback, scoring four goals through Musa Osor, Robert Ljubicic, Samuel Adiniran, and Florian Flick, who equalized on aggregate, forcing the two teams into extra time.

In the 109th minute, Samuel Adiniran returned to score his second goal of the match, giving the Austrian team the winning goal and qualification, completing one of the most remarkable comebacks in European qualifying history.
