Eiraola: Barcola was at his best, and this is my opinion on the team's defense

Andoni Iraola praised Bradley Barcola's performance during Liverpool's 6-3 victory over LASK in the Champions League, stating that the player not only shone by scoring three goals but also delivered an impressive display in individual duels and exploiting spaces behind the opponent's defense.

Iraola said after the match: "I think Barcola put in a great performance today, not just because of the goals, but also thanks to the chances he created in one-on-one situations, when we managed to reach the spaces behind the opponent's defense."

He added: "I really felt that during yesterday's training, sometimes you feel that a player is in their best form, and fortunately for us, he showed the level he possesses."

Andoni Iraola praised Liverpool's overall performance, expressing his happiness with the level the team displayed, despite conceding three goals during the match.

He said: "I am very happy with the performance, we played aggressively when we had the ball, our positioning was good, we moved the ball well, and we attacked the spaces effectively."

Iraola concluded his statements, saying: "Yes, we conceded those goals, but I believe the overall performance of the defense was very good."
