Basim Qasim: We Delivered a Great Match and Deserved the Three Points

Al-Zawraa achieved a resounding victory over their guests Naft Maysan with a score of 4-0 in the third round of the Iraqi Premier League, marking their first win of the season and raising their points tally to 5.

After the match, Coach Basim Qasim and top scorer Louay Al-Aani shared their thoughts on the win and its reasons.

Al-Zawraa's coach Bassem Qassem expressed his great happiness with the victory, confirming that the team delivered its best performance so far.

Qasim said:

Al-Zawraa player Luay Al-Ani, who scored the first goal, spoke about the dynamics of the match and said:

He commented on the penalty he missed and then scored:

"I missed the penalty at the start and got tense, but my teammates and the fans supported me. I promised myself to make up for it, and thank God the ball came back to me and I scored. This is Zawraa, we never give up."
