Al Zawraa's coach Bassim Qasim has confirmed that the coaching staff and players have completely closed the chapter on their previous loss to Al-Nasr SC, emphasizing that their focus is fully on delivering a strong performance that befits the club's name and heritage.

Qasim said during the press conference with complete honesty and realism:

"We play an important and difficult match tomorrow against a well-organized and strong team like Al-Riffa, who have shown great performances in the last round. We have worked over the past few days to address the mistakes that appeared in the match against Al-Nasr SC and we have overcome that setback both mentally and technically. We are fully aware of our position in the standings and our clear goal is to collect three points and take advantage of the home ground and the fans to make a strong return to the Gulf Club Champions League race."

Qassem added, motivating his team:

"The pressure is always present in big clubs like Al Zawraa, but we fully trust our players' abilities to bear the responsibility. We invite our loyal fans to fill the stands and support the team as we have always known, and our imperative duty is to deliver real football and gift them the awaited victory."

For his part, team captain Ali Adnan expressed the players' absolute determination to erase the previous image and reconcile with the fans through the gateway of Al-Riffa.

Ali Adnan said at the press conference:

"As players, we are fully aware of the difficulty of the match and the importance of its three points to improve our position in the group after the draw in the first round and the recent loss. We have turned the page on the Al-Nasr SC match and have pledged among ourselves within the group to give everything we have and fight for every ball throughout the minutes of the match."

The player continued, confirming the readiness of the group:

"Al-Riffa are a respectable team and have some outstanding players, but we are armed with home advantage, our fans, and a strong desire to achieve victory. We are ready to implement the coaching staff's instructions to the letter, and our primary goal is to make the Al Zawraa fans, who never abandon us, happy and return to the path of continental and Gulf victories."
