Carrasco Saves Al Shabab from Defeat Against Al Riyadh in Roshen League

Al Shabab snatched a thrilling 3-3 draw against Al Riyadh during their clash on Tuesday evening in the third round of the Roshn Saudi League, in a match that saw numerous twists and turns.

Al Riyadh took the lead first through Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 32nd minute, but Al Shabab quickly replied through Josh Brownhill, who equalized just four minutes later.

Al Riyadh regained their advantage just before half-time when Leandro Antonis put his team in front in the 41st minute, only for Yannick Carrasco to bring the match back to level terms.

Riyadh struck again in the 57th minute, capitalizing on a counter-attack finished by Teddy Lia Oko inside the penalty area, bringing the team closer to securing their first victory in the Roshen League.

Karasco dashed Riyadh's hopes of claiming all three points by netting his second goal in the 81st minute, granting Al Shabab a valuable point in a match that featured six goals.

Al-Shabab has increased its points tally to two, placing them in thirteenth position in the standings. Meanwhile, Al-Riyadh has earned its first point of the season, settling in sixteenth place.

The match showcased clear attacking excitement from both sides, as the teams exchanged the lead several times, before Karasco clinched the encounter with his late goal, denying Riyadh their first victory.
