Palmer: Our resilience against Fulham, I worked doubly hard this summer

Cole Palmer, Chelsea's playmaker, revealed the secret behind his team's 3-2 victory over Fulham in their Premier League opener on Monday night.

Chelsea secured the match in their favor against hosts Fulham, successfully maintaining their composure throughout the game and coming away with all three points from their rival's ground.

Palmer stated: "The win is important, as the first match away from home is always tough, but we held on and achieved victory."

He added: "It has been a tough season due to injuries and other factors, but I have worked doubly hard during the summer and since my return."

Chelsea player stated: "Of course, with the injuries, I had to try to avoid them and work twice as hard day by day."
