Hicham Bakar Undergoes Surgery, Out for Three Months

Club Sportif Sfaxien has been dealt a significant blow with the injury of left-back Hicham Bakar, who underwent surgery on his right ankle following a serious injury sustained during the team's match against Stade Tunisien.

Bakar underwent surgery at a hospital in Sfax after suffering an injury during the team's match on Saturday in the opening round of the Ligue Professionnelle 1.

Club Sfaxien previously announced that medical examinations confirmed the player suffered a fracture in his right ankle, necessitating surgical intervention to treat the injury.

The team has confirmed that Bakar's absence from the pitch could last up to three months, with the final duration to be determined based on the progress of his health and recovery pace during the rehabilitation phase.

As a result, Club Sfaxien will have to cope with the absence of one of their players in the upcoming period, while waiting for Bakr to complete his treatment and rehabilitation stages.
