Hakimi Outshines Salah in African Ratings

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has established himself at the top of the list of the highest-rated African players in FC 27, ahead of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, according to the latest rankings for the highly anticipated version of the popular video game.

The Paris Saint-Germain star received an overall rating of 88 points, making him the highest-rated African player in the game, surpassing Mohamed Salah by just one point, who came in second with a score of 87.

On a global scale, Achraf Hakimi ranked 24th in the FC 27 player ratings, reflecting the levels he has showcased with Paris Saint-Germain in recent times, which have solidified his status among the top defenders in the world.

FC 27 is set to be officially released on September 25, 2026, amid great anticipation for the new ratings of global football stars.

Nigerian Victor Osimhen, Guinean Serhou Guirassy, and Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo finished in a tie for third place among African players, each receiving a rating of 85 points.

Ivorian Yan Diomandé secured the sixth position with a rating of 84 points, while Moroccan Ismail Sabiri came in seventh with 83 points, tied with Ivorian Evan Ndicka and Nigerian Ademola Lookman.

Moroccan representation among Africa's top players is solidified with goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, who received a rating of 82 points.

Achraf Hakimi's position at the top of the African rankings in FC 27 underscores the advanced status the Moroccan star has achieved on the global stage, having become one of the standout names in the full-back position. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah settled for second place, just one point behind.
