Portugal has raised its tally to 12 points to qualify for the quarter-finals, while Denmark sits in second place with 6 points. Norway remains in third place with 3 points, and Wales is in fourth place without any points.

Norway started the match strongly, taking the lead in the 36th minute through Kristoffer Ajer, after the ball reached him on the edge of the penalty area, and he unleashed a powerful and wonderful shot that the Portuguese goalkeeper could not save.

However, Portugal's response was swift, as João Cancelo managed to equalise in the 38th minute, after receiving a pass from Nuno Mendes on the edge of the penalty area, before firing a stunning shot into the net.

In the 79th minute, Portugal turned the match around and snatched a winning goal, after Vitinha passed the ball to João Félix, who in turn played it to Gonçalo Ramos, with the latter shooting the ball into the net to give the hosts the lead.

Portugal suffered a late blow as Francisco Conceição received two yellow cards in the 85th minute and was sent off. Despite playing with ten men in the closing minutes, the Portuguese national team held on to their lead until the final whistle.
