Hadi Riyad: Playing for Al Ahly Was a Big Dream for Me

Hadi Riyad, defender of Al Ahli, confirmed that wearing the red team's jersey has been a dream of his since childhood, noting that playing for the club represents a great honor for any player.

Riyad stated in remarks reported by the club's media center: "Playing for Al Ahly was a big dream for me, and I have been striving to achieve it since I was young," emphasizing that his presence within the red fortress since his transfer in January made him feel quickly that he is one of the club's own.

"Wearing the Al Ahly jersey is a great honor, and achieving titles with the club is a dream for any player in Egypt, the Arab world, and Africa," he emphasized, highlighting his desire to compete with his teammates and secure all possible trophies with the team in the upcoming season.

Al Ahly has signed Hadi Riyad in January 2026 from Petrojet for three and a half seasons, after the player rejected other offers, determined to fulfill his dream of wearing the red jersey.
