São Paulo move to sign Jamie Vardy
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Brazilian club São Paulo have made an attempt to sign English striker Jamie Vardy, who is currently available on a free transfer.
According to Romano, the Brazilian club is trying to convince Vardy, the 39-year-old, to join their ranks in a surprising move to sign one of Leicester City's greatest legends.
Vardy is still weighing several options regarding his future, and he has not yet made his final decision about the club with which he will continue his career.
Jamie Vardy has left Cremonese after the end of the 2025-2026 season, during which he scored 7 goals in 29 matches in Serie A, becoming a free agent.
