Santos Paulo Announces the Departure of Hernán Crespo and His Technical Staff
Santos Paulo Club announced on Monday the termination of its contract with its Argentine coach Hernán Crespo, a move that also included the departure of his assistants Juan Branda and Victor Lopez, as well as fitness coaches Federico Martinetti and Leandro Paz, and goalkeeping coach Gustavo Nepioti.
This decision by the Brazilian club comes after Crespo led the team in 46 matches since his return in July 2025, during which he achieved 21 wins, seven draws, and 18 losses.
During his two tenures with the club, Crespo led the team in 99 matches, achieving 45 wins, 26 draws, and 28 losses. He missed four matches in 2021 due to health reasons, during which Juan Branda took over management, resulting in two draws and two losses.
