According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," this move comes as Ferran Torres has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for a five-year contract, while both clubs await a final agreement on the transfer fee and other details.

The newspaper reports that Paris Saint-Germain has made a final offer of €50 million to acquire the player, a sum that Barcelona might be satisfied with, although there is still uncertainty within the Catalan club regarding the completion of the deal today, Thursday.

Barcelona sees finalizing the Ferran Torres deal swiftly as economically important, especially as the club aims to secure financial support to complete the signing of Rodrigo.

Manchester City is asking for €70 to €80 million fixed for Rodri, despite Barcelona having previously made an offer worth €65 million including variables, consisting of €55 million fixed and €10 million in variables, or €60 million fixed and €5 million in variables.
