Saad Samir Escalates Payment Dispute with Modern Sport

Saad Samir, the former Modern Sport player, has escalated his efforts to demand his overdue financial entitlements from the club, stating that he has not received his dues despite more than two years having passed since the end of his contract. He indicated that he has officially approached the Egyptian Football Association to take the necessary actions.

Saad Samir explained that the Players Affairs Committee had previously issued a decision affirming his right to receive his financial dues from Modern Sport, a ruling that was later upheld by the Appeals Committee. However, the club has yet to implement the decision and has not settled the outstanding amounts.

The player stated in a published statement: "After more than two years since my contract with Modern Sport ended, I still have not received my financial dues from the club. To obtain my rights, I resorted to the Players' Affairs Committee, which issued a decision affirming my entitlement to my financial dues, and this decision was upheld by the Appeals Committee."

He added: "Despite the decision being issued and upheld, to this day the club has not paid the amounts owed to me. After exhausting all available options, I submitted a request to the Egyptian Football Association to suspend the club's registration until the decision is implemented and my dues are paid."

The former Modern Sport player emphasized his insistence on receiving his full dues, affirming his trust in the Egyptian Football Association's ability to take the necessary actions to ensure the implementation of the decisions made in his favor.

Saad Samir concluded his statement by saying: "I trust the Egyptian Football Association, and I believe in its role to take the necessary measures that guarantee the implementation of the decision and enable me to receive my full dues."

The player is now awaiting a response from the football association regarding his request, after confirming that he has exhausted all available avenues to secure his dues from Modern Sport.
