Milan Eyes Nikola Zalewski to Strengthen Squad

AC Milan has pinpointed Nicola Zalewski, the Atalanta player, as a potential target to bolster their wing position during the final weeks of the summer transfer window.

According to "Milan News," citing "Corriere della Sera," AC Milan is searching for players on the flanks, a key position in the 3-4-2-1 system employed by coach Ruben Amorim.

Milan's need for reinforcements in this position comes as Zakari Athekami is close to a loan move to Lyon, alongside the potential departure of Estupiñán, while several other names have emerged.

Zalewski is attracting interest from Amorim due to his ability to play on the wings, as well as his potential to be deployed in attacking positions, making him suitable for a wing-based system.

The Polish player joined Atalanta last summer, having progressed through the ranks at Roma and starting his first-team career there, before a brief stint at Inter where he participated in the Champions League final.

Milan's interest in Zalewski comes as part of the club's plan to reshape the team, with some players expected to leave the flanks, making the player one of the names considered to strengthen the squad before the transfer window closes.
