Roma Targets Signing of Udogie to Strengthen Squad

AS Roma is aiming to sign Destiny Udogie, the Tottenham and Italy full-back, during the current summer transfer window, as coach Gian Piero Gasperini looks to bolster the team's ranks.

According to "Calcio Mercato," Udogi has entered Roma's radar, as the club is exploring the possibility of signing the player on loan should he become available for a departure from Tottenham.

Roma's interest in Udogi comes as Gasperini is unhappy with the moves made by the club during the summer transfer window, believing that the team still requires further reinforcements.

Roma has secured the services of Santiago Castro from Bologna for €35 million, and Konstantinos Koulierakis from Wolfsburg for approximately €17 million. Meanwhile, several players have departed from the team, including Zaki Selk.

Nahuel Molina has recently arrived in Rome, paving the way for the announcement of his transfer to the club, as the team works on finalizing the last details of the deal for 19-year-old Porto player Rodrigo Mora.

Roma is actively pursuing options in the transfer market, with Udogi among the players being considered to strengthen the squad. The club has also been linked with the possibility of signing Luis Henrique, the Inter winger, for around €30 million.
