Official: Nottingham Forest Signs Osman Doumbia

Nottingham Forest has officially announced the signing of Ivorian defender Osman Diomande from Sporting Lisbon.

Diomande, 22, has signed a four-year contract with Nottingham Forest, with the club retaining the option to extend for an additional season.

The Ivorian defender arrives in England after three successful seasons with Sporting, during which he played 132 matches in all competitions, contributing to the team's two Portuguese league titles, as well as achieving domestic double and reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Diomandé was also part of the Ivory Coast national team that won the Africa Cup of Nations 2024, and he has 15 international caps to his name.

Diomande stated after joining Forest: "I am very happy to be here. It is a historic club, and I am excited to join. I believe we can achieve great things this season, and I will give my all to help the team."

Diomande is considered one of the standout young defenders in African football, known for his physical strength and defensive presence. Nottingham Forest hopes he will provide a strong addition to their backline for the upcoming season.
