Ahmed Shobair hints at contract renewal for son Mostafa with Al Ahly

Ahmad Shobair has revealed the fate of Al Ahly's contract renewals for its stars during the current period, just before the start of the new season, with a clear hint towards extending Mustafa Shobair's contract.

During a radio interview, Shobir stated: "Al Ahly is committed to keeping the quartet of Yasser Ibrahim, Imam Ashour, Mohamed Hani, and Mustafa Shobir."

He added: "One of the important players has had their contract renewal completed and will be announced today or tomorrow after agreeing on all terms. This player is extremely important and has gained a lot of popularity recently."

Al Ahly is firmly holding on to Yasser Ibrahim and has rejected any offers for him. The player will join the team for their training camp in Spain as planned. As for Imam Ashour, discussions are currently on hold, pending the outcome of sponsorship negotiations. Talks are ongoing.

He added: "Mohamed Hani's situation is also progressing normally, and Al Ahly is strongly committed to keeping them, rejecting any departures unless there are enticing offers."

Shobeir concluded: "You have certainly learned who the negotiations for the renewal have been completed with and the announcement is approaching." This hints at the renewal of Mustafa Shobeir's contract with Al Ahly, despite his father's refusal to mention his name while discussing the renewal of contracts for the stars in red.
