Reports: Emam Ashour accepts his exclusion from Al Ahly FC

Reports have revealed the situation of Emam Ashour, Al Ahly FC's first-team football player, after he was excluded from the squad for the match against Uganda's Kitarra in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

According to reports, Emam Ashour accepts the exclusion decision naturally, without feeling anger towards the coaching staff led by Moroccan coach Al-Hussein Amouta, as communication between the two parties continues.

Sources have revealed that Amouta spoke with the player recently, urging him to continue working hard during training and focus on delivering his best performances in order to prepare for upcoming challenges and regain his place in the coaching staff's plans.

The Moroccan head coach is keen to praise Emam Ashour's abilities in front of his teammates, noting that there are no disagreements or crises between them, contrary to what some speculations may suggest following the decision to exclude the player from the squad.

Emam Ashour's absence from Al Ahly FC's squad for the match against Kitra has raised questions among the team's fans, especially given the importance of the encounter in which the Reds are looking to secure their qualification to the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly FC will play the second leg with the advantage of a 2-1 win in the first leg in Uganda, after Omar El Saaiy and Ahmed Mostafa 'Zizo' scored the team's goals.

Emam Ashour has been excluded following Al Ahly FC's 3-3 draw against Qanah FC in the Egyptian league, a result that has increased pressure on the team ahead of their continued journey in the CAF Champions League.
