Roma Finalizes Deal with Atletico Madrid for Molina
AS Roma has successfully concluded one of its most significant summer signings, reaching a final agreement with Atletico Madrid to acquire Argentine full-back Nahuel Molina, as part of the team's preparations for the upcoming season.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal will be finalized for €13 million, along with €4 million in incentives and variables, after both clubs agreed on all terms related to the player's transfer.
The report indicated that Molina will arrive in Italy within the next few hours, preparing to undergo medical examinations before officially signing his contract with "the Giallorossi" and announcing the deal.
The transfer of the Argentine international marks a return to Serie A, where he previously shone in the Udinese shirt, before making his way to Atlético Madrid, where he had a spell that lasted several seasons.
Roma's move for Molina comes after their negotiations with Feyenoord for the player Red faltered due to the Dutch club's insistence on their financial demands, prompting the Italian club's management to quickly redirect their focus to the Atletico Madrid star, before successfully reaching a final agreement to complete the transfer.
