It seems that Gonzalez does not wish to return to Juventus after his stint with Atletico Madrid last season, where he left a positive impression during his loan spell. As a result, the Spanish club has become the preferred destination for the player to continue his career in Spain.

Atletico Madrid is hopeful of reaching an agreement with Juventus to secure the player on a permanent basis. However, if negotiations between the two parties falter, AS Roma is ready to step in and make an offer to the Italian club for the player's services.
