Roma in Talks to Sign Endrick
AS Roma has entered negotiations with Real Madrid in an attempt to secure the signing of young Brazilian forward Endrick during the current summer transfer window.
According to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Roma is keen on signing the player on loan with an option to buy, alongside including a clause that grants Real Madrid the right to re-sign the player in the future.
The report added that Roma's sporting director, Tiago Pinto, traveled to the Spanish capital, Madrid, to discuss the possibility of completing the deal with officials from the royal club.
Despite the strong interest from the Italian club in acquiring Endrick, Real Madrid is currently showing no openness to the idea of the player's departure, whether on loan or through a sale.
The source concluded that Roma will continue its attempts until the final days of the transfer market, seeing Endrick as a primary target to strengthen the team's attack in preparation for the new season.
