Polish club Raków Częstochowa has finalized the deal to sign Iraqi international forward Ali Ibrahim Al-Hamadi on a one-season loan from English club Ipswich Town.

The club is set to announce the signing officially in the next few hours, after the player completes his medical examination and arrives at the club's headquarters to sign the official contracts.

Al-Hamadi is under contract with Ipswich Town until 2028, but the English club's management preferred to loan him out this season to give him a chance for more playing time and regular minutes away from the pressures of the Premier League.

The loan move to the Polish league marks a new step in the career of the 24-year-old striker, who is looking to regain his scoring touch and secure regular playing time.

Al-Hamadi has had a long experience in English football, having played for Luton Town, Stoke City, Wimbledon, Bromley, and Wycombe before arriving at Ipswich Town.

On the international stage, Al-Hamadi is considered one of the consistent names in the Iraqi national team roster in recent times, having participated with the "Lions of Mesopotamia" in several important matches, the latest being in the World Cup finals.

Raków Częstochowa is looking to bolster their attacking line by signing Al-Hamadi, an international player with European experience, as the team competes for top positions in the Polish league and continental competitions.

The Iraqi forward's first appearance with the team is contingent upon the completion of medical examinations and the official signing, after which he will join the team's training camp in preparation for the season's kickoff.
