Isaac leads Liverpool to victory over Ipswich Town in the Premier League

Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Portman Road in the third round of the Premier League.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 7th minute, after a pass from Cody Gakpo, before the same player added a second goal in the 9th minute, capitalising on a brilliant pass from his Dutch teammate Gakpo.

Ipswich Town tried to reach Liverpool's goal on several occasions but failed to score throughout the match, allowing the Reds to keep a clean sheet and take all three points.

With this victory, Liverpool have increased their tally to 5 points, placing them fifth in the Premier League table, while Ipswich Town remain on 3 points in thirteenth place.
