The coaching staff of Al-Shorta received uplifting news today, as medical tests conducted on professional player Abdul Majid Abu Bakr in Beirut confirmed the safety of the player's knee, ruling out any serious injury that would require surgical intervention.

According to the club's media department, specialized tests were conducted in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for the player under the supervision of Dr. Alfred Khoury, one of the leading orthopedic doctors in Lebanon.

Tests have shown no tears or damage to the ligaments and joint of the knee, alleviating the concerns that arose following the player's injury in the recent friendly match.

Team doctor Dr. Abdul Rahman Jaber explained that the pain experienced by Abdul Majid was a result of accumulated fatigue and a lack of adequate rest in recent times.

Jaber stated: "The tests showed a deficiency in the synovial fluid within the knee joint, which caused temporary friction leading to pain, but it does not represent a serious structural injury."

A doctor confirmed that the decision to send the player to Beirut was a precautionary measure to ensure an accurate diagnosis and protect the player from worsening the injury, especially with the new season and local and Asian commitments approaching.

According to the medical report, Abdul Majid Abu Bakr will not require any surgical intervention. Instead, he will undergo an intensive therapeutic and rehabilitation program for two weeks.

The program focuses on strengthening the quadriceps around the knee and improving joint flexibility, in order to gradually return to team training without any risks.

Abdul Majid Abu Bakr is considered one of the influential names in Al-Shorta's lineup, and his absence would have represented a significant loss for the team as they gear up for the Iraqi Premier League and external tournaments.
