Al Ahly Set $2.5 Million Fee for Ben Ramadan's Departure
A television report has indicated that Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane of Al Ahly is experiencing a poor psychological state due to his irregular participation with the team and being excluded from the main plans during the last season.
A report from the television program "From Cairo" aired on ON Sport states: "A close source to Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan told us that the player is feeling mentally unwell due to what happened last season, and he believed he would have a bigger role with the team."
He added: "Ben Ramadan feels that he does not have a prominent role at Al Ahly, and the current situation indicates that the player has offers from Qatar and Al Shamal."
He added: "Al Ahly rejected the idea of a loan, but if a final sale offer of $2.5 million arrives, the club will agree to his departure."
He added: "Al Ahly has started preparing some CVs for midfield players, so that if Ben Ramadan or Imam leaves, a replacement is readily available."
