Napoli Eyes Badashile as Chelsea Open to Loan

Napoli has renewed its interest in signing French defender Benoît Badiashile from Chelsea, as the English club is prepared to discuss his departure on loan during the current transfer window.

According to "Football Italia", Chelsea's stance on the player has changed, having previously rejected the idea of loaning him out.

Chelsea paid €38 million to sign Badashile from Monaco in January 2023, but he did not meet expectations, featuring in only 16 matches across all competitions last season.

Napoli previously inquired about the possibility of signing the French defender, but stipulated that the deal should be on loan, a condition that Chelsea is now more open to discussing.

Badiashile is contracted to Chelsea until June 2030, and a loan to a team participating in the Champions League could represent an opportunity for him to regain his form and secure regular playing minutes.
