Barcelona Nears Resolution for Ter Stegen's Loan to Ajax

Barcelona has moved closer to removing the obstacles that have hindered the transfer of their German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to Ajax Amsterdam on loan, after presenting him with a new proposal to address the tax aspects that delayed the completion of the deal.

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Marc-André ter Stegen is looking positively at the new offer, after being cautious about some details regarding the distribution of his salary for the current season, which could pave the way for a final agreement.

The newspaper added that Ajax will only bear less than two million euros of the goalkeeper's salary, while Barcelona will cover the bulk of it, linking part of the amount to the number of matches the player participates in, as requested by the Dutch club.

The deal has become more complicated than expected, prompting Barcelona to step in and adjust some figures to facilitate the agreement, after the responsibility for personal economic aspects fell on the player.

Ajax continues to await a resolution in the negotiations, expressing surprise at the ongoing delays. The club has confirmed that it will not set a final deadline for concluding the matter, but it will not wait indefinitely.

Meanwhile, Marc-André ter Stegen remains silent about his future, while he continues to participate regularly in Barcelona's training under coach Hans Flick, awaiting a resolution regarding his fate in the coming days.
