According to journalist Philipp Hinteze, both parties are close to reaching an agreement, while Leipzig continues to work on finalizing the deal with the player's club.

Aslani has a release clause in his contract valued between €25 million and €29 million, and no final agreement has yet been reached regarding the transfer fee.

Despite ongoing negotiations, RB Leipzig is the club most advanced in the race to sign the striker, as they aim to finalize the deal as soon as possible.
