Moriyasu: I Feel Great Frustration... I Wanted to Lead Japan to the World Cup Final

Hajime Moriyasu, the head coach of the Japanese national team, expressed his deep frustration after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, confirming that his dream was to lead the "Blue Samurai" to the final and compete for the title.

Moriyasu stated: "I feel an overwhelming sense of frustration. When I was on the same pitch during the World Cup final, I thought I wanted to lead the team to the final, but we didn't succeed in that."
