Aston Villa inquires about Estupiñán as Milan assesses player's future
Aston Villa has entered the race to sign Pervis Estupiñán, the left-back from AC Milan, during the summer transfer window.
According to "Football Italia," citing journalist Matteo Moretto, the English club has contacted Milan to inquire about the player's status, financial valuation, and physical condition.
The report indicates that Estupiñán is not part of the plans of new coach Ruben Amorim, prompting his agents to seek a new club.
Milan signed the player from Brighton last summer for €17 million, plus €2 million in incentives, but he has only made 22 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
The same source added that the player is under contract with Milan until June 2030, while the Italian club is asking for €14 million to agree to his departure.
Aston Villa is awaiting Milan's final decision before making a formal offer for the Ecuadorian international.
