Roma Makes Move for Diego Moreira as Strasbourg Holds Firm on Price

AS Roma is preparing to make an official bid for Belgian winger Diego Moreira, currently at Strasbourg, as part of their plans to strengthen the attacking line during the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the offer is set at €30 million, along with a 10% sell-on clause for any future transfer of the player.

Roma's interest in Moreira comes after their primary target, Mason Greenwood, is nearing a move to Fenerbahçe from Marseille.

The same source noted that Strasbourg is holding out for €50 million, complicating negotiations between the two parties at this time.

Additionally, the network reported that the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, is working to find a suitable transfer agreement that aligns the interests of both clubs.

Chelsea, from whom Moreira transferred to Strasbourg in 2024, retains a buy-back option and a clause that gives them priority to match any official offer received by the French club.
