Injury Update for Al Hilal: Absences for Al-Dosari and Tambakti, Surgery for Al-Harbi
Al Hilal has announced the latest medical updates regarding several first-team players, confirming details of injuries to Salem Al-Dosari, Hassan Tambakti, and Muteb Al-Harbi, along with their respective treatment plans in preparation for the new season.
The club stated that team captain Salem Al-Dosari is suffering from a knee tendon injury and will undergo an examination by specialist Dr. Asil Limbanen on July 20 to determine if surgery is necessary. His expected recovery and rehabilitation program will last between 6 to 8 weeks.
Medical tests revealed that defender Hassan Tambakti has a tear in his right foot tendon sustained while playing for the Saudi national team in the World Cup. He will require a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting 6 to 7 weeks before returning to the pitch.
Meanwhile, full-back Muteb Al-Harbi is set to undergo eye surgery in the coming days, with hopes of being ready to join the pre-season camp after recovery.
These injuries pose a challenge for Al Hilal's coaching staff ahead of the upcoming season preparations, especially with two key players potentially sidelined for nearly two months. The club hopes to have all three players back in top condition before the official competitions begin.
