Monza Club officially announced the appointment of Croatian coach Ivan Jurić as the new head coach of the first team, with his duties set to begin officially on July 1, 2026, in preparation for the new season in the Italian league.

Jurić was born in the city of Split on August 25, 1975, and began his career as a player, wearing the jerseys of clubs Hajduk Split, Sevilla, Albacete, Crotone, and Genoa.

After experiences as an assistant coach with Inter Milan and Palermo, in addition to coaching the youth team at Genoa, he embarked on his first experience as a head coach with Mantova during the 2014-2015 season.

In the following season, Juric led Crotone to a historic achievement by being promoted to Serie A for the first time. He then returned to Genoa in the summer of 2016, marking his debut as a coach in Serie A and successfully achieving the goal of staying up. After his stint ended in 2019, he moved on to coach Hellas Verona, where he achieved ninth and tenth place finishes in Serie A, delivering attractive attacking football that won over the fans.

In the summer of 2021, Juric took on the role of head coach for Torino for three seasons before moving on to coach Roma. He then had a stint in England with Southampton before returning to Italy to coach Atalanta, where he added to his record by participating in the UEFA Champions League, leading the team in four matches in the competition.

Juric is known for his strong personality and style based on high pressing and offensive play, as he now begins a new chapter of his career with Monza.
