Juric before Sassuolo clash: We are developing well and miss Pesina a lot
Ivan Juric, the head coach of AC Monza, has confirmed that his team is experiencing a positive period ahead of their match against US Sassuolo, noting that the work the players have put in so far has exceeded his expectations, despite some details that have cost them better results.
Vincenzo Yuretic said: "It hasn't been a turbulent week. In football, anything can happen, and I am used to everything. AC Monza has exceeded my expectations so far, we haven't missed any matches, and we have paid the price for some situations and details, but for me, the work is excellent."
The coach discussed Zibalos' condition, noting he has not yet reached his best level but is training very well and may get more minutes against US Sassuolo. He emphasized the need to handle him gradually before he reaches full fitness. He added that Zibalos and Ngong are getting closer to the required physical condition.
Juric also praised Andria Kolbani's potential, but urged the player to deliver more, saying: "He has great quality, but he can't always express it. I expect more from him, and he knows he is capable of performing better."
In closing his remarks, Juric touched on the return of captain Matteo Pessina, emphasizing the player's importance to the team. He said: "We miss him a lot, due to his experience and because he knows the type of football I want. I hope his absence won't be long."
