The Czech Football Association announced the departure of coach Miroslav Koubek from his position as the national team coach, following an amicable agreement with the association's president, David Trunda, to immediately terminate their cooperation after a comprehensive evaluation of the results from the previous period.

David Tronda stated in an official statement that the meeting with Kubik concluded with a mutual agreement to end the mission, noting that the coach played a significant role in achieving the goal of qualifying for the World Cup after a long absence. He added that the federation appreciates Kubik's professional work and extensive experience, emphasizing that the relationship between the two parties has been characterized by respect and cooperation from the beginning.

For his part, Miroslav Koubek explained that he decided to offer his resignation after exiting the World Cup, considering himself responsible for the failure. He also pointed out that the media atmosphere that accompanied the recent period contributed to his decision to leave, emphasizing that continuing under such circumstances was no longer logical.

Kubik and David Trunda concluded their messages by thanking all the coaching staff, especially Pavel Nedved, as well as the players and fans. They also wished the Czech national team success in the upcoming phase and continued progress following their qualification for the World Cup.
