Kane: It was a perfect night for me and England, and the competition will make us better

Harry Kane, the captain of the England national team, spoke about his team's 3-0 win against the Czech Republic, confirming his satisfaction with the performance and the impressive conclusion to the international break at Wembley Stadium.

Kane said: "It was a perfect night for me on a personal level, as well as for the team. It has been a tough period, and it was great to finish it at Wembley. It was definitely a night I feel a great pride."

He added: "You saw some great football from the England team today, and as a forward, you are always looking for those opportunities."

Regarding England's performance during the four matches, he explained: "It started from the first match, even if it wasn't the result we wanted, and we have continued to build from there. It's always difficult to come back after a major tournament, but we found our way, and that is the most important thing."

Speaking about the competition for places within the England squad, Kane said: "This is the England team, and there will always be competition for places, it’s about taking opportunities, everyone wants to be part of the team, and this will definitely make us better."
