Barcelona Inquires About Harry Kane in Case of Alvarez Deal Failure

Press reports have revealed that Barcelona still considers English striker Harry Kane as a target to strengthen their attack line and has already begun moves to explore the possibility of signing him during the summer transfer window.

According to journalist Craig Hope, Barcelona has made initial contacts with Harry Kane's representatives to understand the player's position and the possibility of completing the deal, given the Catalan club's desire to sign a world-class striker.

The report indicated that Kane has only one year left on his contract with Bayern Munich, which gives Barcelona hope of reaching an agreement, despite realizing that the deal will be financially complex.

He added that Barcelona's management is currently working on finding solutions to finance the deal, while Bayern Munich is keen on keeping their English top scorer and intends to resist any attempt to let him go during the current summer.

The report clarified that Kane feels comfortable within the Bavarian club and is not currently considering leaving. However, his future will not be definitively clear until after his participation in the 2026 World Cup concludes.
