Barcelona Explores Signing Harry Kane After the World Cup

Barcelona has started to explore the possibility of signing the English striker Harry Kane, the captain of the England national team and Bayern Munich star, after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup.

The British newspaper 'Daily Mail' reported that Barcelona's management has contacted Kane's representatives to discuss the possibility of completing the deal, with both parties agreeing to revisit the matter after the player's participation with the England team in the tournament.

Kane, 32, is under contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of next year, while Barcelona is studying ways to secure the necessary funding to complete what the club describes as an ambitious deal.

On the other hand, the English striker feels very comfortable at Bayern Munich, and the German league champions are keen to retain their top scorer, as they do not intend to let him go in the near future.

The Daily Mail added that Kane's camp ended the talks after Barcelona's contact to explore the possibility of signing him, as the player and his representatives focus on reaching an agreement to renew his contract with the Bavarian club after the World Cup.

Kane continues to focus entirely on the England team's journey in the tournament, as he prepares to face the Democratic Republic of Congo in the round of 32, having scored three goals during the group stage, following an impressive season with Bayern Munich where he scored 61 goals in 51 matches.

Barcelona is seeking to sign a new striker following the departure of Robert Lewandowski, with the newspaper confirming that the Catalan club is ready to do whatever it takes to complete the Kane deal if they receive positive indications regarding the possibility of reaching an agreement.
