AC Milan continues to strengthen its squad during the summer transfer window, as it is close to reaching a final agreement with Benfica's Portuguese defender Antonio Silva, following the completion of the deal for his compatriot Gonçalo Ramos.
The "Football Italia" website explained that Milan has reached a preliminary agreement with Silva regarding personal terms, with the 22-year-old defender agreeing to sign a contract that extends until the summer of 2031. It is noted that the player is represented by agent Jorge Mendes.
The report, citing journalist "Nicolo Schira," added that negotiations between Milan and Benfica are ongoing, while the Italian club is preparing to make its official offer to complete the deal.
On its part, the newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that Benfica is asking for around 20 million euros to part with Antonio Silva, who is also attracting interest from a Saudi Professional League club, in addition to two Premier League clubs.
