Thursday 18-06-2026
The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that Chelsea is considering entering into a swap deal with Juventus to sign the Italian full-back Andrea Cambiaso, amid interest from several European clubs, most notably Barcelona.

The newspaper explained that Chelsea, after failing to reach the financial value set by Juventus, proposed including the Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson in the deal, in an attempt to reduce the financial compensation required to sign the player.

Juventus values Cambiasso at around 40 million euros, while Chelsea's initial offer was only between 27 and 28 million euros, prompting the English club to consider a swap deal, according to "La Gazzetta dello Sport."

The report also indicated that Juventus is open to negotiations, especially given their need to sign a new striker during the transfer market. The club is monitoring more than one option to strengthen their attack, including Randal Kolo Muani and Alexander Sørloth.

This comes at a time when Juventus player Cambiasso continues to attract the interest of several major European clubs, with anticipation regarding the future of negotiations in the coming period, whether towards Chelsea or Barcelona.
