Real Madrid Secures Buy-Back Clause in Muñoz Deal to Newcastle

The 22-year-old Spanish player Victor Munoz is close to leaving Osasuna and moving to Newcastle United in a deal from which Real Madrid is expected to benefit financially, as they own 50% of the player's rights after selling him to Osasuna last summer.

The deal sparked much speculation about the player's future, with some predictions linking his move to Newcastle as a transitional phase that could pave the way for him to join Barcelona in the near future.

In this context, the Spanish newspaper "AS" clarified that Real Madrid succeeded in including a one-season buy-back clause in the agreement for the player's transfer from Osasuna to Newcastle, which gives the royal club the option to reclaim him in the future.

The same source added that Real Madrid's management did not oppose the player's departure previously, nor did they include him in their current plans to bring him back during the summer transfer window, despite having the option to repurchase him for 8 million euros to be paid to Osasuna.
