Paraguay National Team Squad for the 2026 World Cup

Gustavo Alfaro, the head coach of the Paraguay national team, announced the final squad for the team that will compete in the 2026 World Cup, scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.

The Paraguay national team is preparing to participate in the tournament just 10 days before it starts, having been drawn in Group D alongside the United States, Australia, and Turkey.

The Paraguay squad includes 26 players, as follows:

Goalkeepers: Orlando Gil, Roberto Junior Fernandez, Gaston Oliveira.

Defenders: Juan Caceres, Gustavo Velasquez, Gustavo Gomez, Junior Alonso, Jose Canale, Omar Alderete, Alejandro Maidana, Fabian Balbuena.

Midfielders: Diego Gomez, Mauricio Magalhaes, Damian Bobadilla, Braian Ojeda, Andres Cubas, Matias Galarza, Alejandro Gamarra.

Forwards: Gustavo Caballero, Ramon Sosa, Alex Arce, Isidro Pitta, Gabriel Avalos, Miguel Almiron, Julio Enciso, Antonio Sanabria.
